Inspired by riding with my father. My job would be to watch out for railroad crossings. If there was a train I would say "Daddy, railroad's down!" I took that saying and wrote a song about love detained by a choo choo train.

My wife got into greyhound rescue while I was out on the road playing music. I would come home and there would be another dog (or two) at the house. One time I came home and found a dozen greyhounds living in our 1200 square foot house! It was like living in a lava lamp. Well from that I decided to stay a little closer to home and to write a song.
Just a simple love song to an inanimate object. I did love going to the drive-in with my parents. They took me to watch the western movies to try to back up some of lessons in life they taught.
I find that things do go better when we are in love.
When a bandmate decided to marry his love we looked for "The Ring" in every alley way and pawn show from Austin, Tx to St. Paul, Mn. This song is a byproduct of that search.
